Okay, what the fuck. Do people seriously not comprehend how illogical it is to say a vampire looks like a walking corpse, yet it can simply waltz up to a human, hypnotize, and feed, and NO ONE sees anything off? I know humans are in general very stupid, but seriously.

Well, perhaps "they are undead" is a better description. But still!

Now, vampiric beings like Lilithmon or Bastemon? That's doing it right. They look like normal, beautiful women (cat-woman in Bastemon's case), not too beautiful, but enough. And at the same time, something feels unearthly about them, like there's something more to them.

My mother found a Catholic prayer book and started rambling about how they're "just like baptists" and they "don't even use the Catholic bible anymore" and I'm like "....I didn't ask. And frankly, I don't give a damn.". I mean, really. I don't hardly ever reference Catholic practices in my writing, usually only when I'm writing Mello. And seriously, why do I need Catholic information when I'm writing about witches and vampires? How does that even make sense?

I'm glad that even though my step mom is southern baptist, my household isn't religious. Actually, the closest thing to religion in our home is all the Buddhas and good-karma stuff around the place ^^ Yay modern hippy home!!

I'm working on a Wiccan path. But I'm accepting of all religions, so long as you don't use that religion to hurt. Then you and me are gonna go round and round.

It's really frustrating when someone tells you to come in for an interview at a specific time on a certain day, making you go to bed and waking up at a time way earlier than usual, and dress in clothes that you hate to wear, only to not come in that day and not tell the interviewee. OTL

I'm not particularly fond of him, myself. The first time that I met with him, he was pretty cold and harsh, but he told me specifically to meet him on Saturday at 11:00 after checking multiple papers to ensure he would be there. So I go to bed early, get up early, dress in a skirt (of all things), prettied myself up, only to be told by another manager that he had just left for the day the hour previous. It's greatly disappointing to see a man 20 years my senior with such poor manners.

*snorts* That's the generation gap for you.

But you would think that it would be reversed, correct? Him, the prim and proper manager that demands everything to be on point and on time, and me, the chronically late young adult that doesn't give a crap to anything other than her own interests.
