I love psychology. All medical branches, really. But, by preference, I'm more of a neurobiological geneticist. And I'm apparently damn good at coming up with "advances" in medicine without extensive research and experimentation. But, I do rather like dissections and vivisections. *giggles madly*

Mew is a neko, but one of her favorite characters is a Kitkit (A kitsune kitten hybrid :3- meh avvie)

Yup yup- I had a neko charrie, but someone complained that she was a kitsune due to having more pointed ears with fluffy fillings and a furry tail tipped in white, even though it's pretty short. But they have long-furred cats, so I just had to compromise... ^^' Yay kitkits!!

Oh c'mon. My kitten is fluffy! And fennec foxes have bigger, more bat-like ears and sleeker less fluffy tails. I thought I told myself I would stop this encyclopedia stuff. Ack. Sleep deprivation. Motherhood really is a kick in the head sometimes....

As they age, sure. Supposedly they gain one tail for every hundred years. Which would explain why Shippou only has one tail as he's ~50 years old. But it doesn't explain why his father only has one tail.
And Keatons have three.

Different series (I think) So there would be a difference in the 2 from inyuasha and the 3rd from Legend of Zelda.
So they may not be able to be compared ^_^. And it could be possible that in the Inyuasha universe that kitsune dont gain a tail every 100 but maybe 150 or 200 even 300 is a possibility. But i may be wrong because i do not know the age of any of the three >.<
